These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services, features, and functionality provided by MHmatters, (“we,” “us,” or “our”) through our website and related applications (collectively, the “Service”). By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, including our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms and conditions that we may provide in connection with the use of our Service.
Be aware we are NOT mental health professionals and we do not intend on claiming to be. We are a community and that is all, if you feel you need help. 1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our Service, you affirm that you are at least 13 years of age and capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you are under 13 years of age, you may not use our Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms and agree to these Terms on behalf of the entity.
Due to the nature of allowing ages 13 and older, you must not use MHmatters if you are a convicted sex offender. Under UK law it is illegal to contact a minor. We as a community will NOT tolerate any talk of a sexual nature to a child and you will be reported to local authorities for further investigation without hesitation.
2. Registration and Account Security
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process and to maintain the security of your account. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account, you agree to notify us immediately. Be aware NON of our staff will ever ask for your password.
3. User Conduct
You agree to use our Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, usernames, graphics, images, photographs, profiles, audio, video, items, and links (“Content”) that you submit, post, and display on the Service.
4. Content Restrictions
You may not post, transmit, or share Content on the Service that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MHmatters, and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall MHmatters, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UNITED KINGDOM, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Protecting our members
We as a community have a duty of care for all our members so as such you must follow all the below ontop of our already mentioned above terms.

Use English only. This is not to discriminate this is simply because our staff currently only understand English fluently so can only guarantee protection in English. We are working on translators so please ensure you only use English for the time being.
11. Legal requests
Upon request from a legal authority, we reserve the right to share any and all information we have on your account when requested by Police or other Government bodies if this is to help with an investigation.
12. Your personal safety
If we feel your life is in immediate danger, we have a duty of care to get you the safety you need. We use your IP address to get a very rough location and what ISP you are with to contact emergency services to aid in getting you help. We can NOT guarantee we will be able to track you down in time or at all before it’s too late. Please, if you feel suicidal or feel you need help ensure you call 112 right away. We use the number 112 as this will work in any country instead of the generic 999 or 911 for example.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By using our Service after these revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
14. Self-deletion of your account
We are proud to say that if you no longer want your account, you can close it by going to settings and account. Once you go through deletion any and all account information will be deleted. Nothing will be stored. It’s like the account never existed. If you close your account we can not bring it back.
